WHY CHOP WOOD CARRY WATER IS MORE THAN A WORKOUT

Chop Wood Carry Water is an incredibly special program to me. It’s rooted in a book my mother once recommended when I was younger — a book that opened my eyes to a new way of seeing life: the understanding that mastery over hard things requires patience, consistency, and a system for weathering life’s inevitable storms.

This program is deeply personal because it parallels my own journey with flexibility and mobility. When I first began, the path was anything but easy. Like learning any new skill, the initial weeks — even months — were filled with frustration and doubt. But it was in that discomfort, in those unseen, persistent efforts, that true strength began to emerge. That’s the heart of this program: the belief that resilience is forged not in grand moments, but in the small, disciplined acts we choose each day.

CWCW  is not just about movement. It’s about growth in all its forms — learning a new skill, navigating the challenges of parenthood, or simply trying to find your place in the world. When I created this, I was going through my own internal struggles, searching for something deeper within myself. I found it through movement. Through practice. Through vulnerability — by opening parts of myself I had once kept hidden.

Each workout in this program carries a message: a quiet reminder of perseverance, of finding strength even when you feel most fragile. I share these lessons with you not from a distance, but face to face — speaking from my own experiences, my own vulnerabilities.

This journey is layered and nuanced in ways I believe you’ll truly appreciate. So as you embark on it, I encourage you: take it one step at a time. Be patient with yourself. Offer yourself grace. Trust the process. And in doing so, you’ll uncover a version of yourself that you’ll be proud to meet — stronger, more resilient, and deeply transformed.

I’m honored to walk this path with you.
